Perturbation-Iteration Algorithm to Solve Fractional Giving Up Smoking Mathematical Model

In this paper, a numerical technique is applied to a five variable giving up smoking fractional mathematical model. This model is based on five types of smokers, i.e. potential, occasional, heavy, temporary quitters and permanent quitters. Efficacy of Perturbation Iteration Algorithm on fractional system of differential equations is shown graphically between standard Runge-Kutta method and PIA.

The Homotopy Analysis Method for Approximating of Giving Up Smoking Model in Fractional Order

In this paper, we consider the giving up smoking model. First, we present the giving up smoking model in fractional order. Then the homotopy analysis method (HAM) is employed to compute an approximate and analytical solution of the model in fractional order. The obtained results are compared with those obtained by forth order Runge-Kutta method and nonstandard numerical method in the integer ca...

A New Technique of Reduce Differential Transform Method to Solve Local Fractional PDEs in Mathematical Physics

In this manuscript, we investigate solutions of the partial differential equations (PDEs) arising inmathematical physics with local fractional derivative operators (LFDOs). To get approximate solutionsof these equations, we utilize the reduce differential transform method (RDTM) which is basedupon the LFDOs. Illustrative examples are given to show the accuracy and reliable results. Theobtained ...

Correction: Approximating a Giving Up Smoking Dynamic on Adolescent Nicotine Dependence in Fractional Order

In this work, we consider giving up smoking dynamic on adolescent nicotine dependence. First, we use the Caputo derivative to develop the model in fractional order. Then we apply two different numerical methods to compute accurate approximate solutions of this new model in fractional order and compare their results. In order to do this, we consider the generalized Euler method (GEM) and multi-s...
